DC Family Solutions is a new service provider in the Townsville region offering services designed to support parents and caregivers to maximise outcomes for children and young people.
We offer a range of therapeutic programs designed to enhance parenting skills and build stronger family relationships.
We work closely with a range of child welfare agencies including the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women and affiliated Foster and Kinship Services.
Our services focus on the importance of creating secure attachments between parents/caregivers and children. We believe that maximising children’s attachments are critical to the development of their social and emotional skills.
We offer the following on a fee for service basis.
We create comprehensive and professional foster and kinship carer assessments. We believe in a holistic and transparent approach to our assessments which produces high quality information and creates a positive experience for our clients.
We provide training and educational programs which are informative, practical and effective. Our training programs can be tailored to suit a wide range of audiences.
We also provide a range of support services to assist children, young people and their families to make positive and lasting change. These services include;
