DC Family Solutions also offer a range of other services aimed at enhancing the well-being of children, young people and their families.
Carer Support
We have found that sometimes carers are already providing care to a child before an assessment is completed. In these cases, there can be a delay in the carer being allocated a Foster and Kinship Care Service or transferal of case management responsibilities.
In these circumstances DC Family Solutions are able to offer a range of services designed to ensure placement stability for the children and young people and emotional support for carers.
These services can be tailored to the specific needs of the child, young person or household.
Consultation Services
We are able to offer an interface between families and child protection agencies. The aim being to increase parent confidence to engage in child safety processes in the best interest of their children and young people.
We are also able to facilitate the Collaborative Family Decision Making processes.
Youth Work Support
We have Qualified Youth Workers who are available to offer a range of support services to young people in out of home care, or those at risk of placement breakdowns.
We are open to discussing any ways in which we could be of service to children, young people and their families.
